IBM Celebrates 10th Anniversary of XML

The most recent issue of the IBM Systems Journal (volume 45, number 2) is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of XML. The issue, available online and for free, includes an introductory article plus 12 technical papers on XML. Six of those papers are related to XML and database issues, including:

    Hi Mark,
    It’s great that someone at MarkLogic looked at IBM Systems Journal on XML. I am an employee of IBM(not in DB2 organization though..); I have this habit of looking at each of Seqouia’s investments once in a while , to see what they are investing in.

    I was just wondering what Mark Logic’s value proposition could be, that differentiates itself from the big enterprise software players. I mean, they could easily replicate what you are doing, and have established direct ales channels. For me, It would be interesting to know how you differentiate yourself??
